Learn to Swim Coach
The Arctic Aquatics Swim Club (ARCT) is a growing USA Swimming club team established in 2021 with more than 150 swimmers in the Greater Boston area. The JR Group focuses on developing athletes to a competitive level.
The team is seeking group coach for our Learn to Swim group at the Waltham location. This group practices from 3 to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays in Waltham.
The group coach will work with the lead coach to execute training plans and provide in water support for swimmers. Prior experience coaching elementary school age swimmers, background as a competitive swimmer and USA Swimming Coach Certification (current or within 30 days of hire) is required.
Candidate must hold a valid driver's license and is 22 and older.
Start Date: Flexible
Responsibilities:
- Coaches the assigned group, differentiating approaches based on varying abilities and experience
- Organize the group to comply with facility rules
- Take attendance of each practice
- Ensures the safety of swimmers
- Maintains all required certifications in good standing including Red Cross Lifeguard /First Aid Certifications
Hourly Rate: $22-$27
