Position Overview: Arctiq is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll be part of an energetic and dedicated Finance team that is passionate about supporting the organization and driving profitable growth. As a key team member, you will be responsible for various accounting functions, including revenue accounting, monthly close, financial statement preparation, and related analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger activities, including recording journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules, ensuring alignment with the general ledger.
- Ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable (AR) management, including accrued revenue, AR allowance, and proper application of payments.
- Assist with cash application/cash management and bank account reconciliations.
- Provide financial insights to management through report generation, data analysis, and trend identification.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely preparation and submission of required documentation.
- Maintain accounting system (e.g., NetSuite) to accurately track revenue data.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Experience with high-growth companies, ideally in the IT industry
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
