We have an immediate opening for a full-time experienced paralegal to join our teams at Arctos Wealth Management & Fiduciary LLC and Arctos Law PLLC in St. Paul, MN. This unique position involves duties for both companies, which share management, office space, and some administrative staff. Both companies are equal opportunity employers.
Arctos Wealth Management & Fiduciary provides services as a professional fiduciary, either by court appointment or by private contract. Our services carry a fiduciary responsibility to our clients, and often to the Court, in roles such as guardian, conservator, trustee, special administrator, personal representative, and appointed agent. Depending on the parameters of each appointment, we are charged with tasks such as protecting, managing, and administering assets; supervising the safety, well-being, or medical decisions of vulnerable adults; conducting detailed and objective investigation and reporting. The company’s work frequently involves collaboration with various legal and financial professionals as well as engaging a variety of skilled contractors and vendors, in addition to frequent reporting to the courts.
Arctos Law is a small law firm with practice areas of probate (guardianship & conservatorship, estate planning, probate law, trust law), business law, and real estate, and mental & chemical health law. Our firm serves small businesses, solo professionals, and families, using our experience and knowledge across practice areas to provide personalized services. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates uncompromising professionalism, has well-developed critical thinking and decision-making skills, is comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced work environment, and who is flexible to transition effectively between various task and case types throughout each workday. The paralegal would perform the following tasks for the respective company :

- Draft or proofread informal and formal correspondence.
- Draft first drafts of legal documents
- File documents on the company’s behalf with government agencies, including e-filing of court documents, recording of real estate documents, federal agency submissions, and submissions to law enforcement
- Collaborate to ensure required service of notices and other legal documents is performed timely and correctly
- Collect and examine documents; organize documents for further review
- Communicate with courts, attorneys, contractors, vendors, and others to schedule meetings, interviews, court hearings, and work order appointments
- Diligently manage timekeeping and invoicing for different case files
- Assist staff with engaging protected persons, family members, contractors and vendors
- Participate in meetings as directed, including taking notes, preparing documents, retrieving documents
- Ensure sensitive financial and personal information is maintained in accordance with strict security protocols

Position is expected to be 90% in-person in St. Paul, MN, 10% remote. Percentage of remote work is subject to change.
