What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Specialist Training Administrator, Veeva QMS (Contractor) (Office or Remote) position at Arcus Biosciences?
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, this individual will serve as the Training Administrator for Arcus Biosciences' electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). Duties include daily administration for document and training workflows, routine metrics designs, and being a contributor for continuous improvements within the Quality Management System group.
Responsibilities:
• Operates as a Business Administrator for Veeva Vault Quality (VVQ) with emphasis on the responsibilities as a Training Administrator.
• Coordinates with stakeholders in document and training workflows.
• Partners with Clinical Business Operations to administer Study Management Team Training.
• Performs training Impact Assessments (IAs) based on document owner feedback and documentation scope. Builds Training Requirements to align with the Training Program.
• Generates and communicates applicable system metrics and reports for timed schedules and ad-hoc requests.
• Administers account and object setups to ensure metadata is accurate and up to date.
• Demonstrates detail-orientation with good organizational skills, especially when managing training requests, calendar schedules, and matrix solutions.
• Supports continuous improvements within Training to ensure regulatory and industry standards are met. Strategically helps build a culture of Quality throughout the organization.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field and/or equivalent experience and education.
• Advanced skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of experience as a Quality System Software Business Administrator. Documentation and Training Management Business Administration skills are preferred. Veeva Vault Quality (VVQ) experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements Office Setting
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. This is primarily a sedentary office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, mouse, or calculator, and to operate standard office equipment. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
