Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company founded with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize innovative first-in-class medicines that meet significant unmet medical needs. Ardelyx has two commercial products approved in the United States, IBSRELA® (tenapanor) and XPHOZAH® (tenapanor). Ardelyx has agreements for the development and commercialization of tenapanor outside of the U.S. Kyowa Kirin commercializes PHOZEVEL® (tenapanor) for hyperphosphatemia in Japan. A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been approved in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.
- Provide high-level administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Prepare and manage expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas, materials, and follow-ups.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of presentations, reports, and other key documents.
- Support contract management submissions
- Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and follow-through on action items.
- Support cross-functional projects by tracking deadlines, organizing materials, and facilitating team coordination.
- Maintain and update databases, contact lists, and other administrative systems.
- Handle additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations of the supported teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-5 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a high-growth biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences environment.
- Proven ability to support multiple executives with competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with expense and travel management systems.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and anticipate needs proactively.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in all interactions.
- Adaptability and a strong team-oriented mindset.
The anticipated hourly range for this full-time non-exempt position is $40.00 to $48.00 per hour. Ardelyx utilizes industry data to ensure that our compensation is competitive and aligned with our industry peers. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity.
