We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to become an integral part of our accounting division at Arden Engineering Constructors! This position will be responsible utilizing standard department processes while focusing on employee satisfaction. This position is located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding/Offboarding Union employees
- Offboarding Union employee
- Process weekly union payroll for 150 employees
- Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain company standards..
- Report all unresolved problems to the Payroll Manager.
- Any other duties as directed by the Payroll Manager.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of payroll experience (Union payroll experience preferred).
- Experience with Timberline Sage 300 preferred
- Positive can-do personality and ability to be forward thinking.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is resourceful and can think outside the box.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to be extremely flexible while managing priorities.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
