For the Ardena Business Unit based in Somerset (US), we are looking for a Technician, Metrology.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

YOUR ROLE

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor instrumentation issues, escalating complex problems to the Lead Metrologist.
• Adhere to FDA, GMP, GLP, ISO 17025, and USP regulations.
• Work closely with laboratory analysts, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance personnel to ensure instruments are functioning within specifications.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and instrument operation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required with 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Metrology, Engineering, Electronics, with 3 years of related field preferred
• Experience in calibration, metrology, or instrumentation within a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device preferred).
• Experience with calibration and troubleshooting of HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, balances, and other analytical instruments.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.
