Duties
- Create and implement CMM programs tailored for diverse components.
- Scrutinize engineering documents to guarantee adherence to specifications.
- Investigate measurement data, composing comprehensive reports on conclusions.
- Offer manufacturing technical support and collaborate with engineering to enhance procedures.
- Mentor and nurture junior team members in CMM operations.
- Target and rectify measurement anomalies with effective solutions.
- Conduct initial inspections on both new and established components.
- Competently complete AS9100D First Article inspection documentation.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology; preference for Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of hands-on CMM operation and programming experience, especially with PCDIMS and Modus platforms.
- Acquaintance with AS9100D standards.
- Profound understanding of GD&T.
- Advanced analytical capabilities and a problem-solving mindset.
- Thrives in both solitary and collaborative environments.
- Articulate communication skills in both writing and speaking.
- Familiar with common software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proficient use of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and more.
