Responsibilities
The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
They work under the supervision of registered nurses and nephrologists to ensure that dialysis procedures are performed safely and effectively.
The Dialysis Technician is also tasked with monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining dialysis equipment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment in the dialysis unit
Qualifications
Job Requirements :
High School or GED
1 years' experience in dialysis setting.
Certification as a Dialysis Technician- CHT- Certified Hemodialysis Technician
Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Preferred.Requirements :
Completion of a dialysis technician training program
