Responsibilities
- The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
- They work under the supervision of registered nurses and nephrologists to ensure that dialysis procedures are performed safely and effectively.
- The Dialysis Technician is also tasked with monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining dialysis equipment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment in the dialysis unit
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School or GED
- 1 years' experience in dialysis setting.
- Certification as a Dialysis Technician- CHT- Certified Hemodialysis Technician
- Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Preferred.Requirements:
- Completion of a dialysis technician training program
