Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties under the direction of a physician, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
- Assist with clinical duties, such as rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT/AAH or ARMA)
- Preferred: 6 months' medical clinic experience, BLS certification within 30 days of hire
