Position Summary/Objective

Essential Functions

• Responsible for teacher training
• Monitor, oversee and train classroom control
• Work closely with staff in building superior customer service and increasing retention of families enrolled
• Properly relay changes to policies and procedures and distribute memos when necessary
• Build self-esteem in all teachers
• Conduct tours

Daily Tasks

• Provide training, coaching, encouragement and support to teachers
• Ensure curriculum is used properly
• Create and maintain staff schedules
• Relay front office information correctly to teachers and vice versa
• Provide teachers with encouragement and support
• Have teachers adhere to the dress code
• Visit classrooms and observe teaching methods

Weekly Tasks

• Create and maintain staff schedule
• Compile and manage supply orders for the teachers
• Provide instruction in the classrooms
• Meet with teachers regarding any goals or expectations
• Review lesson plans
• Ensure that curriculum is following the school calendar
• Verify reading circles are being performed

Applicant General Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Successfully pass a DHR suitability, background check, drug screen and physical.
• Must be physically capable to climb or balance; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
