The Role
As a Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer , you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and integration of FPGA solutions in our advanced security screening systems. Your responsibilities will include :
Selecting, developing, and integrating FPGA technology for system-level designs.
Implementing low-level hardware control, high-speed links, and custom hardware-accelerated algorithms.
Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to validate new and existing designs.
Performing FPGA simulation, debugging, and verification to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience .
Expertise in VHDL / Verilog RTL programming with FPGA development on Altera or Xilinx devices.
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab debugging tools .
Strong background in FPGA verification methodologies, simulations, and debugging .
Experience with computer peripherals and I / O subsystems (e.g., DDR memory, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in analog and digital board development .
Knowledge of RF, microwave, or mm-wave systems .
Familiarity with Artix7 and Kintex Ultrascale families .
Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis and testing.
Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM / DFA) .
Experience in the security technology industry .
