Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist to support our contract with the Defense Logistics Agency in Fort Belvoir, VA. This hybrid role requires expertise in creating interactive and intuitive data visualizations to support both strategic and tactical mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user interfaces for data visualization, leveraging both Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and custom-developed tools.
- Create intuitive, interactive visualizations to manipulate medium to complex datasets, simplifying their interpretation for actionable insights.
- Work iteratively with stakeholders using agile methods to gather requirements and deliver enterprise-level visualizations.
- Build custom visualizations using tools like D3.js, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Utilize COTS enterprise data visualization tools such as Qlik and SAP Lumira.
- Develop visualizations and dashboards against ERP transactional and analytical data models.
- Write medium complexity queries and stored procedures to support dynamic and responsive visualizations.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
- Proficiency with COTS and custom-developed tools for data visualization.
- Expertise in creating intuitive, interactive formats for complex datasets.
- Skilled in developing custom visualizations with technologies like D3.js, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with agile development methods and iterative collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, SAP Lumira).
