As Product Category Manager, Tile and Stone Installation Systems, you will lead the performance and strategic direction of this core product category, including product innovation, commercialization, marketing and promotion, sales strategy, and brand positioning.
This full-time role reports to the Senior Manager of Product Development and Marketing and is based at our corporate campus, located just 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh International Airport
Key responsibilities
- Manage product segment across all channels to achieve market share, sales and profitability targets

Help lead NPI and commercialization process for ARDEX North America:
- Research new markets and trends
- Understand and track competitive environment, trends, products and market needs
- Benchmark existing product line versus competition, defines and fills gaps
- Drive commissioning process of new products with R&D
- Maximize use of global product catalogue (global cross selling)
- Lead cross functional NPI team, follows NPI process for all product development
- Coordinate with other departments including R&D, Operations, Production and Technical
- Implement product strategy, along with business managers, regional sales managers and marketing managers, aligning with the corporate strategic objectives.
- In collaboration with the corporate marketing team, be responsible for development of a broad product marketing strategy, including brand, product, position, channel and promotion.
- Possess a strong technical understanding of assigned ARDEX products and systems.
- Develop, implement and drive effective value propositions/messaging to support sales efforts.
- Develop, implement and drive national and regional promotions and communications strategies
- Oversight of product packaging, design and production, as well as the development of marketing materials including; literature, technical data sheets, website, digital and promotional materials.
- Align budget within program goals and expectations
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing, business development and/or product category management
- Understands financials associated with product costs, budgets, pricing and impact on profitability
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously, work under deadline pressure, excellent project management skills
- Strong focus on understanding customer requirements and value propositions
- Ability to execute sales presentations and have direct interaction with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, results driven
- Accountability, dependability, responsiveness, and teamwork are essential
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite
- Ability to undertake national travel including overnight on occasion
- Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license

Education
- Minimum four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
