The Customer Service Representative role requires someone who is customer-centric, detail-oriented, collaborative, and strong with prioritization. It is important that the individual is a positive representative of the company both internally and externally. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through verbal communication over the phone and written communication through email correspondence. Job Responsibilities
· Deliver exceptional customer experience through written and verbal communication
· Respond to customer inquiries with consistency and quality
· Strategically prioritize workload to meet deadlines
· Develop and own a strong understanding of product materials and ordering processes to guide the customer in recommendations and additional product offerings
· Proactively solve problems and recommend solutions from all current product offerings
· Process account applications and respond to phone inquiries, stock checks, and price inquires
· Anticipate, answer, and address customers’ needs and provide support when needed
· Work to resolve customer service issues in a timely and thorough manner
Requirements
· High school diploma/GED required; some college studies helpful
· Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software programs
· Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service work experience
· Excellent people skills: must be empathetic, patient, confident, pleasant, and able to interact well with a broad spectrum of personality types
· Strong communicator in both written and verbal forms
· A desire to provide top tier customer support with capability to provide that level of service
· Ability to work smoothly and collaboratively within a team setting
· Efficiently learn and use complex software to find data in response to customer support inquiries
· Interest in being a problem-solver with critical thinking skills and troubleshooting abilities
· Maintain organization and attention to detail while multitasking in a challenging, fast-paced environment
· Ability to learn and retain extensive knowledge of products and/or services

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation
Starting base pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
