Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer that is proficient in hyperMill CAM software to join the Area 419 Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming for our 5-axis Grob and DMG machining centers. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various CNC technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
-Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
-Utilize hyperMILL CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production.
-Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs for manufacturability.
Skills
-Proficient in CNC programming with experience in hyperMILL CAM programming software.
-Experience with Inventor and/or Mastercam is also a plus.
-Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
-Familiarity with various machining tools including milling machines and lathes.
-Experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
-Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and micrometers effectively.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
