seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Fremont, OH. This position offers the chance to work in a modern, air-conditioned facility with state-of-the-art technology, supporting industries such as automotive, medical, electronics, horticulture, food, and process automation.
This role is open to both entry-level candidates and those with experience in setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes. Our CNC Machinists are responsible for maintaining, setting up, and operating equipment to meet production specifications and schedules.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, set up, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC machines (3-5 axis milling, mill / turn lathes, surface grinding, jig grinding, ID / OD grinding, and wire EDM).
- Perform complex machining operations with precision and exacting tolerances.
- Understand and apply knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and operational sequences.
- Review part processes and programs for potential issues.
- Read and interpret multi-view drawings and blueprints.
- Perform metrology inspections and report any issues.
- Set up and monitor multiple machines.
- Ensure components function properly in assembly.
- Work independently and troubleshoot as needed.
- Contribute to production goals related to scrap, rework, efficiency, and downtime.
