What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Area Substance Abuse Council?
ASAC (Area Substance Abuse Council) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide support and assistance to the Facilities Director by completing preventative maintenance, responding to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements in all of ASAC’s locations.

As the Maintenance Technician you will:
- Provide direct and regular maintenance where required for all ASAC locations.
- Coordinate and supervise vendors that work on all ASAC properties and equipment.
- Monitor, schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance needs and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Provide direct support to staff and management for maintenance and janitorial needs.
- Maintain building safety at all sites and serve on the Safety Committee.
- Act as the direct contact for all maintenance issues and requests, including working with the Facilities Director on schedules, emergencies, and future needs for facilities and properties.
- Manage fire safety equipment maintenance, AED, and power outage supplies. Ensure first aid supplies are available at all locations along with evacuation requirements, fire extinguishers documentation, safety documentation.
- Review, select and coordinate the pick up or delivery of large donations from a variety of sources in the community.

Salary and Benefits:
