Responsible for developing and maintaining an effective quality control plan supporting the United States Army Force Management School’s (AFMS) accreditation programs. This person is regarded as key personnel expected to develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.

Requirements:This position requires a candidate with management, leadership, and administrative skills and experience to manage programs and work well within a team.
- Ensure implementation of training and training development programs, processes, products and guidance required by Department of the Army (DA), US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and AFMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Function as liaison, and maintain contact with both the Combined Arms Center, and HQ TRADOC specifically their quality Control offices, to ensure understanding and application of accreditation standards
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor all self-assessments required for TRADOC, COE and ACE accreditation visits, plan and manage the TRADOC accreditation schedule
- Enhance crosswalks with doctrine, combat and training development
- Verify that safety, risk assessment and environmental protection measures are considered throughout the training development process and incorporated in training products
- Review products to ensure inclusion of mandatory training as directed in Army Regulation (AR) 350-1, Appendix G
- Evaluate individual, collective, and self-development training products and literature for currency, usability, efficiency, effectiveness, doctrinal and technical correctness, and compliance with current Army/TRADOC policy
- Conduct an independent determination of the quality of training with concentration on the presentation of training, competency of instructors, methods of instruction, relevance and course content
- Produce ad hoc, monthly, and annual reports and analysis documents
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in educational development / and or related type degree.
- Quality Control Evaluator Course (QAEC) Certificate
- Faculty Development Program (Level I / FDP1) Certificate
- One to two years serving within a commercial and / or military educational institution as a supervising Quality Control Specialist
- Observation of a formal accreditation visit resulting in a level III/IV accreditation
- Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) experience
- Distance learning or Video Tele-training Instructor Training experience
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) applications and support
- Ability to perform diverse duties, conduct analysis, and meet all timelines with quality products
