As a Buyer, you’ll be responsible for sourcing products, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to meet operational needs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality of products and services for the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Source and negotiate with suppliers to meet the company’s product and service needs, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
· Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual terms.
· Prepare, process, and manage purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines.
· Track inventory levels and forecast procurement needs to maintain adequate supply and prevent shortages or overstocking.
· Evaluate supplier performance, including price, quality, and delivery timelines, to ensure optimal supplier relationships.
· Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs, ensuring the right products and services are sourced.
· Request quotes from suppliers and ensure cost-effectiveness and best value for the company.
· Resolve discrepancies and issues related to price, delivery, or condition of products, and work towards efficient solutions.
· Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including cost analysis, inventory levels, and supplier performance data.
· Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely submission for payment.
Requirements:
· Associate’s degree or High School Diploma; 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
· Strong interest in procurement, supplier negotiations, vendor management and customer service.
o Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory mgmt., and sourcing strategies preferred.
· Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft NAV / Business Central or similar software.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.
