Help Desk Support - Growing Company, Fast Paced Environment, Advancement Opportunity

The Position:

We are looking for a qualified Systems Administrator to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the IT ecosystem/architecture in a LAN/WAN environment comprised of multiple sites and the daily needs of end users.
  • Will perform a wide range of technical support, from managing 40 servers in VMWare to providing support to 200 users.
  • Provide technical support for laptop computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and software applications including setup, installation, upgrading, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of all hardware and software
  • Manage service requests and support tickets within the ticketing software. Manage escalations as appropriate and maintain required documentation.
  • Work with other IT staff and company employees to identify network or computer system needs
  • Propose system improvements, new software and any projects which will move the company forward
  • Assist with additional IT projects, when needed

Qualifications:

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent combination of experience in IT
  • 5 years of PC support/helpdesk experience, 1-3 years of Systems/Network Administration
  • Strong customer service focus with working knowledge of: Windows Operating Systems, iOS and Android devices, VOIP phones, VLANs, and Firewall Rules.
  • Experience supporting & troubleshooting Windows Desktops and Servers and related technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Office 365.
  • Must take the initiative to work efficiently without constant supervision and direction.
  • Team player – vital to maintaining a high-performing IT department.
  • Self-starter; flexible to take on new initiatives.
