We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to manage complex underground utility infrastructure initiatives. This individual will oversee all phases of construction operations, from planning through project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety, and quality benchmarks are met without compromise. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all phases of underground utility projects, ensuring seamless progress from kickoff to closeout.
- Build, maintain, and adjust project schedules, budgets, and workflows to guarantee deliverables meet contract terms.
- Enforce strict adherence to company safety policies and regulatory standards, driving a proactive safety culture across all teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for field teams, subcontractors, clients, and municipal representatives.
- Track daily progress, anticipate risks, and swiftly implement solutions to avoid schedule delays or cost overruns.
- Manage purchasing, vendor invoicing, and change orders with an emphasis on financial discipline.
- Conduct regular field inspections to monitor quality, safety compliance, and resolve site issues immediately.
- Keep thorough records of project activities, budgets, changes, and milestones for internal and client reporting.
- Oversee the performance of project teams, holding individuals accountable to high standards through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Deliver clear, timely updates and strategic recommendations to leadership and clients.
- Mentor and develop supervisory staff to build leadership capabilities across the team.
- Perform additional project management duties as needed to support operational success.
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 3 years experience managing civil construction or underground utility projects.
- Deep expertise in excavation, underground installations, and public works infrastructure.
- Proficient at interpreting construction documents, blueprints, and contract specifications.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, construction management platforms, and digital estimating tools like BlueBeam.
- A creative problem-solver who thrives under pressure and thinks strategically.
- An excellent communicator who can lead diverse teams and drive project momentum.
- Knowledgeable of OSHA standards and committed to world-class safety practices.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a strong driving history.
- Spanish-English bilingual skills are highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Background in underground utilities and concrete construction techniques.
- Proven success in leading teams as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
Compensation:
Pay: 90-120k annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
