Job Description

Arena Graphics is looking to add a Production & Installation Technician to our growing team. In this role, you will be working very closely with our other production team members. You must be eager to learn and passionate about delivering a quality product for our customers. You would be an integral part of the core of our company. The ideal hire loves the idea of being part of a team, eager to learn, and who takes great pride in their work. We have several national accounts that involve travel to cities around the country, so some travel is possible.

Responsibilities:

• Align yourself with our Core Values - Integrity, Passion, Teamwork, Accountability, Excellence
• Operate various large format machinery including UV printers, laminators, precision plotters, and CNC cutters/routers
• Print and fabricate signage of all kinds using listed machinery and other needed tools
• Learn and utilize various desktop and mobile software's
• Collaborate with all departments to assist in file preparation for print
• Communicate with project managers and clients(when on job site) to ensure jobs are completed as scheduled
• Accurately install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, Self adhesive vinyl's, and other mounting hardware.
• Assist in occasional site visits for upcoming projects
• Coordinate with the production/installation manager to meet deadlines and identify new projects
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Operate Company vehicles at times, or personal vehicle on occasion
• Keep your shared workspace clean and orderly
• Work as a team with your other department members to ensure quality
• Demonstrate precision and quality while fabricating products.
• Shipping/receiving of materials and outgoing Jobs

Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry heavy objects (50 – 75 lbs).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Attention to detail, and an eye for consistency
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Dependable, professional, and goal oriented
• A positive, can-do attitude & self-motivated
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous print shop production experience is a plus but not required
• We are eager to train someone who is teachable and ambitious, so you don’t need all of the above requirements to become a successful part of our team. We have a long history of hiring inexperienced producers/installers who grow quickly in their job responsibilities and overall compensation

• Typically Monday to Friday (evening and weekend work available)
• Typically 8 hour shift
• Overtime guaranteed during busy season, paid at time-and-a-half, or double-time at times
