Title : Sr. Database Engineer
Location : On site in Chantilly, VA
Citizenship / Clearance Requirement : US Citizen with an ActiveTS / SCI w / CI Poly clearance required.This position supports a government contract.
What you will be working on :
As the Microsoft SQL Engineer, you will :
- Engineer, document, deliver, and maintain Microsoft SQL versions from 2005 through 2017 according to specifications and security guidelines.
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and technical issues.
- Participate in all phases of ITIL Service Lifecycle, including Change Requests and Incident ticket resolution.
- Design and integrate SQL instances in both virtualized and physical environments.
- Implement fault-tolerant database solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database configurations comply with DISA STIGs.
- Support applications reliant on SQL databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
