Join ARES' team in support of NASA on the Kennedy Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services Contract Three (KLXS III) contract. Under the contract, ARES provides engineering and technical services, program and business management support services and administrative support services to the EGS Program. The contract also includes support for ground systems and spaceflight systems planning and design; project management and integration; operations integration and analysis; technical requirements development, management, and compliance; cost, risk, information and configuration management; and schedule integration and analysis.
Job Description :
StratComm Internal Communication Analyst will support the Kennedy Space Center’s Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Strategic Communication (Strat Comm) Team. The Strat Comm team works in partnership with Kennedy Space Center’s Public Affairs Office to handle all internal and outward communication to the media and public as well as internal program events. This role will vary depending on the activities required to support operational processing and launch but will likely include :
- Provide up-to-date Program resources, links, and news for the EGS workforce
- Provide a weekly communication from the Program Manager to the EGS workforce and institutional partners
- Curate and create content (video, graphics, articles) for web based informational dashboard
- Create graphics, presentations, and videos for Outreach events
- Manage the outreach forms and inventory system and fill outreach orders
- Draft and distribute most program communications from the StratComm (weekly Friday newsletter, monthly newsletters)
- Create and manage SME signup forms for various outreach events
- Organize / Plan events, recruit SME’s, ship products and exhibits to event locations
- Participating in the planning and execution of events for NASA and contractor employees, members of the media, Legislative and Executive Branch VIP’s, and the public. This will include being a facility escort for tours, helping set up and support events, and other roles supporting the event leader as needed.
- Participation in the creation of communication products, including but not limited to educational products, Social Media products, or internal employee videos / activities.
- Participation in brainstorming sessions, generating new ideas, and offering creative solutions.
