School Site Supervisor
 

The Arete School Site Supervisor will carry out various administrative services assigned for Arete Education Youth Programs and will plan, organize, and direct the execution of program activities, special projects, events, and requests.  
 

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 1:30pm/2:00pm - 5:30pm
 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in all program activities, events, training, and staff meetings. 

• Participate in regular performance meetings with your supervisor.

• Demonstrate exceptional service skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, professionalism, a positive and encouraging demeanor, and a "can do" attitude.

• Conduct outreach to support student enrollment and attendance. 

• Create event schedules and flyers.

• Oversee student and staff attendance procedures; support daily reporting of this data to the Community School Director. 

• Develop weekly reports for the Community School Director regarding student and family attendance and participation.

• Organize and maintain digital files and student and parent database information.

• Add regular photo and video posts to Arete's social media accounts.

• Always represent the Arete Education and Partner schools in the best light, consistent with organizational standards of conduct. 

• Identifies needs, makes recommendations for, and facilitates high-quality youth program activities.

• Collaborate with other program teams across the organization.

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion within the available budget.

• Assist the Community School Director, or other leadership staff, with planning functions for special projects.

• Act as liaison with program staff and leadership team.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient with all Google Education Apps, Microsoft Office, Zoom Video Conferencing, Social Media apps, video and photo editing apps

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Education and Experience

• 1-2 years of demonstrated leadership work experience.

• Prior internship or work experience working with Arete Education preferred

• Mandated Reporter and Foundations in Health and Safety online training required (7 hours) to begin the internship

• Department of Health and Department of Education background clearance

• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 

• Must be able to traverse the classroom and adjust one’s tone and height, by bending or leaning, to support program activities
