Position Overview:
As a Junior Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the creditworthiness of potential small business loan applicants and streamlining the loan process for our sales team. This hybrid role allows you to collaborate with corporate staff and external Referral Partners, offering guidance and support during the application submission process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Credit Analysis: Assess the creditworthiness of small business loan applications, gaining valuable experience in financial evaluation and risk assessment.
· Loan Facilitation: Facilitate the loan application process for our sales team, ensuring efficient and seamless loan flow.
· Collaboration: Work closely with corporate staff and external Referral Partners, honing your communication and interpersonal skills.
· Recommendation Formulation: Develop credit recommendations for sales representatives and Referral Partners in line with ARF's established approval criteria.
· Effective Communication: Present approval recommendations to sales representatives and potential Referral Partners, building your confidence in professional communication.
· Sales Training – Learning sales strategies including networking, building a pipeline, negotiation skills, developing partners, and closing skills.
Career Development Path:
This role is part of our Career Development Program, designed to nurture your growth and provide a clear career path. Your journey at ARF begins with hands-on experience working closely with our underwriting staff. Your career will then transition to a Junior Sales Representative under an ARF Senior Loan Officer to be mentored and work closely with to help develop your sales, networking and closing skills.
Qualifications:
· Recent college graduate eager to embark on a career journey. (Degree must be in Finance, Business or Business Administration)
· Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn credit analysis.
· Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
· Adaptability and the ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment.
