Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metallurgical Engineer to play a critical role on our metallurgy team. This person would be responsible for defining metallurgical requirements for orders, providing technical support to internal and external customers, as well as assisting or leading continuous improvement efforts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define metallurgical requirements for orders.
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
- Assist or lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain melting, pouring, and heat treatment procedures.
- Investigate casting issues and innovate solutions to metallurgical problems.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science.
- At least 2 years of work experience in metal casting.
- Beneficial experience includes: induction furnace melting, arc melting, AOD refining, alloying, or heat treatment of non-ferrous alloys, carbon and low-alloy steels, or high-alloy steels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
