JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Communicator Supervisor is responsible for leading a team in the analysis, development, and management of ARGO documentation for customer delivery and implementation projects. This role ensures the creation of high-quality, user-centric documentation that effectively communicates complex technical details to both internal teams and end-users.

EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Develop Documentation Plans : Create documentation plans and schedules for identified projects, ensuring alignment with product release dates and client deliverables.
- Team Management : Supervise and mentor a team of technical communicators, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Information Gathering : Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources (e.g., product demonstrations, project tracking systems, interviews) to document new or changing product functionality.
- Project Management : Manage documentation projects effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards, proactively addressing project issues and scope changes.
- Collaboration with SMEs : Work with ARGO subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal groups to develop and maintain documentation that meets established quality metrics.
- Documentation Standards : Ensure compliance with the ARGO Corporate Communications Style Guide and best practices in documentation development and maintenance.
- User Feedback : Solicit feedback to measure documentation effectiveness and conduct user / task analysis to determine documentation requirements.
- Peer Reviews : Perform peer reviews to ensure documentation is accurate, relevant, concise, and user-friendly.
- Continuous Improvement : Support and apply effective documentation practices, including the use and improvement of processes, procedures, templates, and standards.

The position is based in our Richardson, TX office. Daily physical presence in the office is required for interaction with co-workers, attending meetings, and for collaboration on projects.
