QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting application and system software testing to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards. This role involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), adhering to processes, ensuring team accountability, and contributing to root cause analysis. Collaboration with both business and technology teams is essential to understand and clarify business requirements, implement comprehensive test strategies, execute and evaluate test results, and support internal and external projects with test cases.

ARGO’s solutions encompass financial products such as Fraud Detection, Teller Payment Systems, Lending, and Omni-channel Delivery, as well as healthcare solutions including Behavioral Health, Utilization Review, Patient Identity Matching/EMR, and Patient Financing.
EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitate Testing Activities: Reduce risk, eliminate waste, identify defects, and provide insights for project and product decision-makers.
- Project Leadership: Lead testing efforts for specific projects and assist with multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
- Test Planning and Execution: Participate in creating test plans, generating valid test data, and executing test cases to ensure software quality before client release.
- Requirements Analysis: Review requirements and design documents for gaps or ambiguities and recommend quality improvements.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in understanding the line of business and product template quality.
- Test Scripts: Develop and execute test scripts, manage test data preparation, and lead confirmation testing.
- Log Files: Capture and review log and trace files; SQL experience is a plus.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Apply knowledge of client value and quality to facilitate successful UAT.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Emerging Technologies: Adopt and apply emerging technologies in software quality, such as AI and LLM tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional, practical, or military experience.
- Experience: 2 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in software testing.
- Industry Experience: Practical experience in financial services or healthcare.
- Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard test management tools, such as Xray Enterprise, and workflow management tools like Jira.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
- Testing Knowledge: Working knowledge of testing approaches and techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective verbal and written communication.
- SDLC Understanding: Basic knowledge of deliverables and testing processes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in software applications and technology.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Standards Knowledge: Basic understanding of company and department standards.

ATTENDANCE/WORK LOCATION
The position is based in our Richardson, TX office. Daily physical presence is required for interaction with co-workers, attending meetings, and project collaboration. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
