JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role combines recruitment responsibilities with support for our Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the recruitment process and assisting in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

TIME ALLOCATION: 

Talent Acquisition (70%):
  • Recruitment Coordination: Post job openings, review resumes, and schedule interviews. (20%)
  • Candidate Sourcing Utilize job boards, social media, and other channels to attract and identify qualified candidates. (15%)
  • Interview Management: Coordinate interview logistics and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers. (15%)
  • Candidate Engagement: Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience and gather feedback. (10%)
  • Learning and Development (20%):
  • Training Support: Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs. (20%) for recruiting and hiring initiatives 

Administrative and Reporting (10%):
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Learning Management System (LMS). (5%)
  • Reporting: Assist in tracking and reporting recruitment metrics and training program effectiveness. (5%)

EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Job duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Talent Acquisition:
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to attract qualified candidates
  • Coordinate and manage interview logistics, including communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Conduct Full Life Cycle Recruitment for specific roles. 
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on recruitment metrics and candidate pipeline status

Learning and Development:
  • Help organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for employees.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning content.
  • Contribute to identifying training needs by gathering feedback from employees and managers.
  • Manage logistical aspects of L&D events, such as scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communication.
  • Collect and analyze feedback on training programs and report on their effectiveness and areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or a related field.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment practices and learning and development principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and demands.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE 
  • Previous experience in a Software, Banking/Finance or Healthcare environment preferred. 
  • Corporate Recruitment experience is a plus. 
  • Previous experience with LMS a plus.

This role is critical to the People and Process in ARGO’s Value Chain CRP3 (Customer, Revenue, People, Product, and Process) by highly impacting the development of our solutions and increasing the value of our process which drives our solutions. 

ATTENDANCE/WORK LOCATION
The position is based in our Richardson, TX office. Daily physical presence in the office is required for interaction with co-workers, attending meetings, and for collaboration on projects. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit stationary; constantly operate computer keyboarding and office equipment. talk or hear, to communicate with employees, and/ or customers (must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations).  The employee is required to regularly communicate with other employees, confer or coordinate with other employees.  The employee is required to evaluate, edit, revise, update, and provide solutions 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants for U.S. or Canadian based positions with ARGO must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time for ARGO positions.

Pre-employment background screening will be conducted.
