What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Cast Utility - 1st Shift snn position at Argus Technical Services?
Die Cast Utility - 1st Shift snn
Duties include but are not limited to the following :
- Install and remove tooling in die casting machines
- Produce good casting samples for Quality Control to approve production
- Assist with process adjustments to maintain / improve casting quality
- Change cores, shot rods, shot tips, spray guns
- Furnace tending and metal transfers
- Material handling
- Relief operator
- Help facilitate the start of the shift
A successful candidate should have some prior manufacturing experience in a factory environment.
Die casting or foundry experience would be beneficial.
You will be standing, lifting, and working in varying temperatures.
Attention to detail and working safely is very important.
The candidate must be willing to learn, follow the directions of a supervisor, and work cooperatively with other team members.
Other duties may be assigned to help facilitate production goals.
A positive attitude and regular and punctual attendance is required. Safety is our #1 priority.
Salary : $250 - $1,000
