Workers’ Compensation Claims Investigator (AOE/COE)
Plan and schedule appointments to obtain in-person recorded statements, documents and photographic evidence from claimants, employers and third parties. Create a detailed report for Claims Examiners and legal representatives for the purpose of assisting with compensability decisions. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
Critical Requirements:
- Basic Office Computer Skills: The use of office applications, web browsers, email and other basic software.
- Report Writing: The ability to compile notes into a template to create a clear report, free of basic errors.
- Self-motivation: The ability to self-schedule, meet deadlines and be organized.
- Personal Vehicle: The vehicle must have appropriate registration and insurance.
- High-speed Internet: The ability to email and upload large files in a reasonable time-frame.
- Recording Equipment: The ability to use a digital voice recorder and camera, transfer files to a computer and secure them.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
