The Store Transfer Specialist is responsible for the systemic movement of inventory between our DCs, internal departments, and stores. They communicate with internal merchandising, visual, and buying partners to coordinate product arrival to the stores for floor set and biweekly transfers. They work with the new store opening team to determine the schedule and confirmation of product shipping to the store. They work with mock stores, photos, and sample rooms to manifest transfers for internal shipping. They focus on providing the highest levels of cross-functional partner satisfaction and production efficiencies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Process store transfers: Process all store stock and customer pick-up orders to the store biweekly. Send confirmation of the product the store should expect to the visual team. Work with visuals to make any changes prior to finalizing the manifest. Build a manifest and communicate with the distribution center's outbound teams. Reassign/scrub locations for the warehouse. Confirm all transfers have been sent as expected.
- Process transfers for new store openings: Confirm delivery schedule for new stores. Check all transfers written for the correct dates. Follow new store logistics SOP for communicating and double-checking transfers. Send pick lists to the warehouse. Validate no open transfers left behind. Confirm final pieces with visuals before store opening day.
- Process internal transfers and DC to DC transfers: Manifest transfers for inventory movement between distribution centers. Work with cross-functional partners in the photo, mock store, and sample room to support the quick turnaround of transfer products. Research failed orders in Manhattan. Relentlessly ensure all requested pieces ship systemically correctly.

- Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
- Years of experience: Some customer service experience preferred
- A valid Driver’s license is required
- Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs
- Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
- Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
- Performing tasks using a computer and telephone daily
- Repetitive processing steps.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer’s information.
- Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training
- Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
