Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for developing test process, equipment’s and executing testing procedures to ensure the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process by analyzing production test data, identifying defects, and suggesting corrective actions to optimize efficiency and maintain product quality ; and work closely with design engineers to ensure testability of new products and may also be involved in setting up and maintaining testing equipment.
Should possess strong product knowledge on power train function and technical skills in automation systems, manufacturing process planning with knowledge on manufacturing processes, quality control, problem-solving abilities, project management skills, data analysis, excellent communication, and a keen eye for detail, often requiring a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or control system engineering.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement testing methodologies and procedures to evaluate product functionality, performance, and reliability against established specifications.
- Conduct testing on manufactured products using specialized equipment, recording data and analyzing results to identify potential issues.
- Identify root causes of product defects, report findings to relevant teams, and propose solutions to improve product quality.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for process optimization and implement changes to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of testing equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Interpret test results, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Work closely with design engineers, production teams, and quality control personnel to identify and address quality concerns.
- Strong product knowledge on power train function and technical skills in automation systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
