About the Role
The IT Retail Systems Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to Ariat's retail stores, ensuring smooth operations of POS (Point of Sale) systems, network connectivity, hardware, and software applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You'll Make a Difference By
- Providing all levels of IT support for retail store technology, including POS systems, printers, kiosks, digital signage, and network connectivity
- Troubleshooting and resolving retail locations' hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Working closely with the Retail Operations team to support store openings, relocations, and closures by configuring and deploying IT equipment
- Maintaining and updating POS software, firmware, and system configurations to ensure compliance and optimal performance
- Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of retail-related hardware, such as routers, switches, and mobile devices
- Monitoring and escalating IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution in alignment with service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Supporting and training store associates on IT systems, troubleshooting steps, and best practices
- Collaborating with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware replacements, repairs, and software updates
- Maintaining IT documentation, asset inventory, and knowledge base articles related to retail technology
- Participating in on-call rotations and providing remote and occasional on-site support for critical retail IT issues
- Other duties as assigned

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000 per year.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
