Job Summary:
The Project Engineer (Offshore Projects) is one of the most visible internal and client-facing roles at Arion. - Experience with individual project sizes of $1M or greater
- Responsible for project management of assigned project(s)
- Responsible for project execution, including assigned project resources
- Help develop and issue project execution plans for every project
- Manages overall project schedule and budget including management reporting
- Prepares project status reports addressing schedule, budget, staffing, safety, and open issues
- Monitor sub-contractor quality, cost and schedule performance
- Manage Project Engineers to review project Specifications, Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordination with vendors and customers
- Monitor and coordinate engineering site visits, and responses to contractor inquiries
- Monitor delivery and review of documents, drawings and submittals
- Attend job site meetings with contractors, consultants and customers to review and monitor progress on activities
- Initial review of vendor and sub-contractor payment applications, validating project progress against approved schedule of values
- Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders
- Oversee the project HSSEQ program and ensure procedures are followed
Qualifications
Qualifications / Skills:
- Project Engineer Experience and/or Construction Engineering and design experience with 5 years working as PE on multiple projects
- Experience managing team of project discipline individuals
- Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating
- General understanding of HSSEQ programs and requirements
Software:
- Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong MS Project capabilities and experience
- Some software capabilities with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio
