What are the responsibilities and job description for the HUD Specialist position at Arisa Health, Inc.?
Arisa Health is seeking candidates for a HUD Specialist in the Searcy Arisa Health Recovery at Mills Program. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with HUD policies/procedures is preferred. Candidates must be able to operate system computers with familiarity of e-mail and word processing, and to be able to operate basic office machines. Candidates must be able to multi task, meet paperwork deadlines, and be able to work independently and in a team setting. Responsibilities include managing all HUD housing in compliance with HUD handbook standards.
This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
What we look for in a HUD Specialist:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with HUD Policies and Procedures preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What you will do:
- Manage HUD property in compliance with HUD regulations
- Maintain applicant waiting lists, tenant files, and all other required documentation
- Recommend and schedule preventative maintenance with appropriate vendors
- Prepare and maintain client records
- Providing administrative support to program which may include collecting and entering data, running reports, tracking data and information to then complete reports/submitting proposals, and creating and maintaining files
- Collection of payments in accordance with ARISA Health payment policy and entering of payments into EMR, making daily deposits, handling of all outgoing and incoming mail, which may include drop off and pick up at Post Office
