Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) position in Morrilton. This role is in a clinical mental health environment.

Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.
This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
What we look for in a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CCMA or RMA Certification required through the American Association of Medical Assistants
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business
What you will do:
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care
- Perform administrative and clinical tasks
- Record patient information such as medical history, vital signs, and test results
- Collect and analyze patient samples
- Prepare patients for tests and procedures
- Schedule appointments
- Authorize prescription refills
