What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Aide position at AristaCare At Cedar Oaks?
The Recreation Aide helps to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs of the facility. Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent
- Must relate well with the residents and facility staff.
- At least one year of experience in recreation in a geriatric setting or in a health care facility.
- Experience in working with Dementia patients preferred.
