Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate billing and accounts receivable documents, including AIA billing, sworn statements, and waivers
- Process job billing
- Prepare subcontractor payables
- Enter material and supply accounts payable invoices in accounting software program(s)
- Assist with monthly general ledger postings
- Support the maintenance of the general ledger and reconciliation of balances
- Assist with audit requests and procedures when needed
- Assist with job setup utilizing Viewpoint Software
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of Viewpoint is preferred
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative, and ability to work independently
Required Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Previous internship in Accounting required
- 1-3 years of experience working in accounting or related field
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred
