The Vice President (VP) – Land-Based Product Quality is a critical leadership role reporting to the Executive Vice President – Land-Based Products. This position leads the Gaming Product Quality team and holds overall responsibility for the quality of products, including both games and hardware. The VP is tasked with driving high-impact quality initiatives, promoting continuous improvement, conducting root cause analyses, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the land-based product organization. The role also involves integrating quality strategies seamlessly across the organization, accelerating quality improvement efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify transformative quality initiatives and frameworks. The VP will partner with product teams to develop both near- and long-term strategic quality and improvement plans.

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
What You'll Do
- Lead diverse, multi-functional teams to deliver tactical, operational, and strategic solutions that enhance product quality, accelerate time-to-market, and prioritize the voice of the customer.
- Drive strategic and operational excellence to optimize team and process performance, maximize value, and increase efficiency.
- Foster open dialogue to identify quality challenges and opportunities.
- Build shared understanding among stakeholders about key pain points and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate strategic improvement planning sessions for the Design and Development (D&D) teams to define quality Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Act as a cultural change agent, driving strategies to improve quality and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
- Influence outcomes and decisions in a distributed organization through strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide regular updates, health checks, and scorecards to leadership and stakeholders to maintain buy-in and visibility for quality initiatives.
- Champion transparent, consistent, and proactive execution of quality programs across the product group.
- Cultivate a quality-first mindset by encouraging positive team behaviors and fostering a unified team culture.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Innovate and adapt in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Solve complex problems, manage expectations, and mediate conflicts effectively.
- Design and implement robust governance and audit frameworks to ensure accountability.
- Monitor and manage quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and provide a holistic view of product quality.
- Oversee product testing teams and implement best-in-class processes and practices.
- Manage third-party testing contracts for regulatory testing and certification.
- Lead resolution of field issues cross-functionally, ensuring timely and effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Domestic and international travel may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, science, or equivalent experience in the gaming industry; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant global quality experience, with gaming industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of product, software, and hardware development lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with product development from inception through post-launch.
- Extensive experience in testing and certification processes.
- Expertise in defining and measuring product quality using data and analytics.
- Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, problem-solving tools) is strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
