What are the responsibilities and job description for the UX Researcher - Interactive position at Aristocrat Technologies?
We are looking for a dynamic User Researcher to join our Global Consumer Insights team! This role will lead user research initiatives in support of Aristocrat Interactive, the premier global platform and service provider for the regulated online RMG (real money gaming) industry. In this highly collaborative and pivotal role, you will report to the Director of UX Research and be at the forefront of creating best-in-class, end-to-end user experiences for our players.
Your primary focus will be to collaborate with game designers, product managers, the various gaming studios and the Market Research lead for Aristocrat Interactive to ensure that Aristocrat games not only meet but exceed industry standards for user engagement and satisfaction.
What You'll Do
Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams (among others) to identify research topics and critical research questions, create detailed study plans and build a holistic research roadmap; communicate and refresh on a regular basis to ensure impact and relevancyEmploy the best research method(s) based on research questions, timeline, and resourcingPartner with the Consumer Insights Mgr who supports Aristocrat Interactive via market research methodologies to create a "center of excellence" for your stakeholdersCommunicate insights, recommendations, and next steps in clear, concise, and compelling ways to your stakeholdersDrive impact, as measured by changes to the product design and development roadmapCreate a deep understanding and empathy for our current and lapsed gamers as well as competitive gamersWork with and learn from other members of the Consumer Insights teamEagerness to continually learn, grow, and improve the craft of UX researchWhat We're Looking For
3 years of user research experience employing qualitative and quantitative methods such as rapid iterative testing, in-depth interviews, concept testing, diary studies, card sorting, etc.Experience conducting research at different parts of the product development process, from discovery to deliveryA strong desire to learn and grow within the UXR (and overall consumer insights) functionA passion for gaming! Pay Range$72,412 - $134,481 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
