The Director of Business Analytics will lead the business analytics function within the North America, LATAM and EMEA. The Director will be responsible for defining the overall strategy for the team and building out performance data analytics across the 3 regions through our RevMax Plus program and by collaborating with key internal stakeholders and external customers. This role will drive key analytics across our product portfolio and focus on developing innovative data science models and tools to advance our analytics product offerings to external customers and to be leveraged to drive increasing product performance, optimize and streamline operations and better targeting and sales execution. This position requires the ability to be a hands on advanced analytics leader, translate business objectives to a wide range of stakeholders and have executive presentation and communication skills.
Job Requirements
Define the strategy and roadmap for the business analytics team
Integrate and define processes to align and drive analytics across multiple regions
Lead and further develop our RevMax Plus program across regions, including additional analytics to optimize product performance and metrics to measure program effectiveness
Streamline and automate operational process to create scalability
Build scalable solutions, develop advanced algorithms and build innovative data science solutions, products and strategies to be leveraged across business and product teams
Provides the strategic leadership, collaborative coordination, and creative problem solving to mentor and manage a successful team
Work closely with multiple business units to identify areas for further analysis, and supervise the data collection, model development, analysis, implementation, tracking, and reported ROI
Develop post-launch product and portfolio analytics, insights and reporting for strategic planning, D&D and executive review
Drive portfolio analysis around category segmentation, product life cycles and forecasting, portfolio requirements, product performance and key metrics that will aide in driving portfolio strategies and planning
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree
Master's degree in a technical field
6 years leading an advanced analytics organization
5 years of experience with building data science models or analytic algorithms
Experience with modern data stacks, languages, and warehouses (Spark, Snowflake/BigQuery, R, Python/Pandas)
Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to small and large groups including Global Executives and deal with unexpected questions and challenges while presenting
Excellent and proven project management skills
Experience and familiarity with Continuous Improvement concepts and framework
Transformational and seasoned advanced analytics, data science and quantitative skills with proven ability to drive results and lead a team from vision through execution and delivery
Ability to provide leadership by applying quantitative analytics to business problems
A track record around driving innovation and transformative change using data analytics
Exceptional commercialization skills with prior experience leading efforts in commercializing analytics products and solutions
Experience working effectively in complex organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, leading through a matrix, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Meets challenges consistently and confidently with energy and drive. Motivated by results, urgency, and personal commitment
Possesses high integrity and exceptional work ethic. Fosters mutual trust and respect, and is an excellent team player
