Warranty Service Specialist

Description

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to understand and resolve warranty-related issues
• Work closely with the Warranty Service Clerk to coordinate appointments and prioritize warranty needs
• Prepare, record, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers or distributors
• Ensure all warranty paperwork is properly documented and filed
• Track and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for product issues
• Maintain stock levels of parts and materials needed for warranty repairs
• Coach and support team members on warranty processes and product knowledge
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions and determine project requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and costs
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Previous experience in home building, customer service, technical support, or a related field
• Basic understanding of the products and the ability to perform minor repairs or troubleshooting
• Flexibility in working hours may be required during peak reporting periods (e.g., month-end, year-end)
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
