Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Handyman to join ARIVA Homes. This position involves a wide range of tasks to support the maintenance and presentation of homes and job sites. The ideal candidate has general handyman experience, a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts basic maintenance on various businesses or homes
- Repairing plumbing systems, fixing company equipment or tools and testing various company or home appliances to ensure they work properly
- Perform general handyman duties including minor repairs, maintenance, and touch-ups
- Cut and maintain grass and landscaping around homes and job sites
- Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facilities
- Assist in moving furniture and belongings in and out of model homes
- Assist in cleaning and preparing homes for showings or final walkthroughs
- Power wash driveways, sidewalks, and exterior surfaces
- Support Sales Manager with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Able to recognize when a repair is outside of their skill set and make a recommendation to the supervisor
- Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
- Self-starter with good time management skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
