About the position:
Are you a creative, data-driven marketer looking to make a big impact across multiple leading media brands? Arizent is looking for an Associate Manager of Subscriptions Marketing to drive audience engagement and grow our subscriber base for six influential brands: American Banker, Financial Planning, The Bond Buyer, National Mortgage News, Accounting Today, and Digital Insurance. In this high-visibility role, you’ll take full ownership of planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns. You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategies, introduce new initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—all while leveraging data and insights to drive real results. Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Design, create, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive subscription acquisition and engagement across all brands, including onsite experience, internal and external advertising, email campaigns, social media promotions, and more.
- Manage and optimize email campaigns, including content drip/value proposition emails, promotional campaigns, sales initiatives, and retention efforts.
- Develop and maintain automated customer journeys, leveraging marketing technology to increase efficiency and engagement.
Reporting & Planning:
- Lead the development and presentation of weekly and monthly campaign reports for all six brands.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform future marketing initiatives.
- Work with the data team to develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards that track key performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, collaborating with Data & Analytics, Product, Audience, Editorial Operations, and Studio to develop and refine campaigns.
- Proactively coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on campaign strategies and execution.
- Facilitate collaboration with the email and product teams to automate repetitive tasks and optimize processes.
Innovation and Process Improvement:
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and streamline workflows.
- Drive innovation through the implementation of new technologies, campaign ideas and processes that enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a marketing position, financial services or publishing is a plus
- Degree in marketing or similar field
- Proven ability to lead and execute marketing campaigns independently.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with marketing platforms and tools, including Salesforce, Google Analytics, Chartbeat, Piano, Omeda, Dripify, and Google Suite.
- Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
