SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The senior accountant will handle all accounting operations and verify financial records and transactions. This position will have a keen attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
2. Review inter-company transactions
3. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls
4. GL Account analysis
5. Analyze period over period fluctuations and provide management with insightful commentary of variances
6. Prepare general journal entries
7. Assist with the month-end closing process
8. Assist with special projects as needed
9. Treasury functions including but not limited to daily bank account reconciliations
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2. Minimum 8 years experience in Accounting
3. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, experience with SAP a plus
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Strong organizational and analytical skills
6. Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
