What are the responsibilities and job description for the CASINO HOST position at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)?
Summary: Effectively market, attract, establish and maintain a professional relationship with casino guests, providing specialized attention to casino customers. Enhance the growth and profitability of gaming revenues through the development of the targeted casino players. Manage expense associated with customer acquisition and maintenance. Assist players with questions, concerns, and comping issues pertaining to their player account and reinvestment. Work in conjunction with other casino hosts and host manager to develop and maintain customer loyalty regardless of host assignment.
Essential Functions:
- Market and recruit new guests and other customers to property
- Establish professional relationships with guests and support the ace|PLAY program
- Communicate the benefits of ace|PLAY in a knowledgeable and exciting manner
- Provide opportunities for players to move to higher tier-levels in the casino loyalty program
- Performs telemarketing assignments by mail, phone calls and emails then provide accurate accounting and reporting of the results to these efforts
- Ensures promotions are effectively communicated to targeted guests
- Evaluates customer’s casino activities to determine complimentary items
- Assists in creating special events and attends functions as appropriate
- Assist the players club with enrolling new members and casino guest related issues
- Ensure that monthly goals are being met regarding player reinvestment and guest contact as defined by management
- Assist Casino Hosts/ace|PLAY Center with floor promotions and various other tasks
- Accountable for meeting goals for monthly budget, guest contacts and financial accountability as defined by management
- Track activity and regularly communicate with management on player status, development and acquisition
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment to develop casino customers as loyal players
- Resolves issues effectively and professionally
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in same or similar role
- Previous experience providing outstanding guest service
- Previous experience independently solving problems and making decisions impacting business
- Working knowledge of general computer programs, including the MSWord and Excel
- Previous computer experience with CMS and LMS preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or other secondary education certification in related field preferred
